There is hereby created the School Finance Review Commission\n\nconsisting of:\n\n1. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nGovernor whose term shall begin not later than March 1, 2021;\n\n2. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nLieutenant Governor whose term shall begin not later than March 1,\n\n2021;\n\n3. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nSpeaker of the House of Representatives whose term shall begin not\n\nlater than March 1, 2021;\n\n4. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nMinority Leader of the House of Representatives whose term shall\n\nbegin not later than March 1, 2021;\n\n5. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nPresident Pro Tempore of the Senate whose term shall begin not later\n\nthan March 1, 2021;\n\n6. A member appointed by and serving at the pleasure of the\n\nMinority Leader of the Senate whose term shall begin not later than\n\nMarch 1, 2021;\n\n7. The Executive Director of the Office of Educational Quality\n\nand Accountability or his or her designee who is an employee of the\n\nOffice of Educational Quality and Accountability who shall be an ex\n\nofficio and nonvoting member; and\n\n8. The State Superintendent or his or her designee who is an\n\nemployee of the State Department of Education who shall be an ex\n\nofficio and nonvoting member.\n\nB. Thereafter persons shall be appointed by the appointing\n\nauthority for terms of four (4) years beginning on January 1, or\n\nuntil the Commission expires. Any vacancy shall be filled by the\n\nappointing authority for the remainder of the unexpired term.\n\nC. No voting member shall be appointed to the Commission who at\n\nthe time of his or her appointment is an elected official. Any\n\nperson who is appointed to the Commission who subsequently becomes\n\nan elected official during his or her term on the Commission shall\n\nbe required to vacate his or her position on the Commission.\n\nD. The Educational Quality and Accountability Commission shall\n\nprovide staff and administrative support to the School Finance\n\nReview Commission. The State Department of Education shall assist\n\nthe Educational Quality and Accountability Commission as needed in\n\nproviding staff and administrative support to the School Finance\n\nReview Commission.\n\nE. The Commission shall hold its meetings in compliance with\n\nthe Oklahoma Open Meeting Act.\n\nF.
