Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3-145.11","heading":"Virtual setting student assessments — Grades 3","body":"through 8.\n\nA. A statewide virtual charter school or a school district\n\noperating a full-time virtual education program may administer to\n\nenrolled students in grades three through eight the statewide system\n\nof student assessments required by Section 1210.508 of Title 70 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes in a virtual setting that best meets the\n\neducational needs of the students and aligns with their regular\n\nacademic instruction. Assessments for grades nine through twelve\n\nshall not be administered in a virtual setting.\n\nB. A statewide virtual charter school or a school district\n\noperating a full-time virtual education program that administers\n\nstudent assessments as provided for in subsection A of this section\n\nshall ensure the following requirements are met:\n\n1. The student to whom the statewide student assessment is\n\nadministered takes the assessment on an assigned date and time;\n\n2. The student to whom the statewide student assessment is\n\nadministered attends a synchronous assessment session initiated and\n\nmanaged by designated personnel of the statewide virtual charter\n\nschool or the school district that operates a full-time virtual\n\neducation program;\n\n3. a. If the statewide student assessment platform does not\n\nallow integrated camera proctoring, the student to\n\nwhom the statewide student assessment is administered\n\nshall use two devices for the duration of the\n\nadministration. One device shall be used by the\n\nstudent to take the statewide student assessment, and\n\none device shall be used by an assessment proctor to\n\nmonitor the student for the duration of the\n\nadministration of the statewide student assessment\n\nusing the camera on the required device, or\n\nb. If the statewide student assessment platform does\n\nallow for an assessment proctor to view the student\n\nand the student’s background environment, a secondary\n\ndevice shall not be required;\n\n4. The device on which a student is administered a statewide\n\nstudent assessment has audio capabilities accessible by the\n\nassessment administrator for purposes of monitoring the student;\n\n5. The statewide virtual charter school or school district that\n\noperates a full-time virtual education program that administers a\n\nstatewide student assessment to a student in a virtual setting seeks\n\nto maintain a student assessment taker to assessment proctor ratio\n\nof ten-to-one or lower;\n\n6. The student to whom the statewide student assessment is\n\nadministered does not exit the assessment administration until\n\ninstructed to do so by the assigned assessment proctor; and\n\n7. The submission of a statewide student assessment\n\nadministered pursuant to the provisions of this section is verified\n\nby the assessment administrator.\n\nC. A statewide virtual charter school or a school district\n\noperating a full-time virtual education program that administers\n\nstudent assessments pursuant to this section shall take into account\n\na student’s individualized education program (IEP) developed\n\npursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA)\n\nor Section 504 Plan developed pursuant to the Rehabilitation Act of\n\n1973 in determining whether a virtual setting best meets the\n\neducational needs of such a student.\n\nD.
