Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3204","heading":"State Regents - Body corporate - Official seal - officers","body":"- Terms - Powers and duties - Proceedings.\n\n(a) The State Regents shall be a body corporate, and shall adopt\n\nan official seal; and all contracts, official documents, awards,\n\ndegrees or other papers or instruments issued by the State Regents\n\nand requiring the official signature of the State Regents shall have\n\nthe impression of such seal.\n\n(b) The State Regents shall annually elect from its membership a\n\nchairman, vice-chairman, secretary, and assistant secretary, each of\n\nwhom shall serve for a term of one (1) fiscal year. The chairman\n\nshall be the presiding officer of the State Regents. He shall, on\n\nbehalf of the State Regents, subscribe the official name thereof,\n\nand the secretary shall affix the official seal to all contracts,\n\nofficial documents, awards, degrees or other papers or instruments\n\nissued by the State Regents and requiring the official signature of\n\nthe State Regents. In the absence, disqualification or disability\n\nof the chairman or secretary to act, the vice-chairman and assistant\n\nsecretary shall perform the duties of such respective officers.
