The governing boards of institutions within The Oklahoma\n\nState System of Higher Education are authorized to establish\n\nacademic service fees at their respective institutions with the\n\napproval of the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. These\n\nfees may be required, in addition to the resident and nonresident\n\ntuition and mandatory fees authorized by Sections 3218.8 and 3218.9\n\nof this title. The academic service fees shall not exceed the\n\nactual costs of the academic services provided by the institution\n\nwhich may include, but shall not be limited to, special instruction,\n\ntesting, and provision of laboratory supplies and materials.\n\nB. It is the intent of the Legislature that the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education maintain information on the established\n\nmandatory fees authorized in Sections 3218.8 and 3218.9 of this\n\ntitle and on those fees authorized in this section.
