Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3230.2","heading":"Committee appointments – Compensation – Travel","body":"reimbursement.\n\nA. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall\n\nappoint members to the Oklahoma EPSCoR Advisory Committee that may\n\ninclude:\n\n1. Representatives of the state’s higher education\n\ninstitutions;\n\n2. Representatives of private research entities located in\n\nOklahoma;\n\n3. Representatives of private business;\n\n4. Residents of this state whose contribution will enhance the\n\ngoals of the Committee;\n\n5. A representative of the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement\n\nof Science and Technology; and\n\n6. A representative from the pre-kindergarten through twelfth\n\ngrade education system.\n\nB. The membership of the Committee shall also include:\n\n1. One member of the Governor’s staff to be appointed by the\n\nGovernor;\n\n2. One member of the Senate to be appointed by the President\n\nPro Tempore of the Senate; and\n\n3. One member of the House of Representatives to be appointed\n\nby the Speaker of the House of Representatives.\n\nC. The State Regents shall ensure that the membership of the\n\nCommittee complies with requirements and guidelines of the\n\nappropriate federal agencies.\n\nD. Members of the Committee shall not receive compensation for\n\nserving on the Committee but may receive travel reimbursement as\n\nfollows:\n\n1. Legislative members of the Committee may be reimbursed for\n\ntheir necessary travel expenses incurred in the performance of their\n\nduties in accordance with Section 456 of Title 74 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes from the legislative body in which they serve;\n\n2. State agency employees who are members of the Committee\n\nshall be reimbursed for travel expenses incurred in the performance\n\nof their duties by their respective agencies in accordance with the\n\nState Travel Reimbursement Act; and\n\n3.
