Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3308","heading":"School of Dentistry - Creation - Courses of instruction -","body":"Degrees - Rules and regulations - Tuition - Gifts and grants -\n\nLocation - Plan for initiation.\n\n(a) The University of Oklahoma School of Dentistry is hereby\n\ncreated for instruction in Dentistry. The Board of Regents of the\n\nUniversity of Oklahoma and the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation are hereby authorized and directed to establish and\n\nmaintain the School of Dentistry and to provide for courses of\n\ninstruction in Dentistry as will provide a thorough knowledge of\n\nDentistry, and all subjects pertaining thereto, and that will meet\n\nthe requirements of the Council on Dental Education, the American\n\nAssociation of Dental Schools and other such educational\n\nassociations of like standard concerned with Dentistry.\n\n(b) The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, through the\n\nBoard of Regents of the University of Oklahoma, shall have authority\n\nto confer degrees and issue diplomas, and fix a standard of grades\n\nfor all students attending the School of Dentistry. The School of\n\nDentistry shall have regular courses leading to degrees, and such\n\nother special courses as approved by the Oklahoma State Regents for\n\nHigher Education.\n\n(c) The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall fix\n\nthe amount of tuition to be charged students in said School of\n\nDentistry.\n\n(d) The Board of Regents of the University of Oklahoma is hereby\n\nauthorized to accept, in connection with said School of Dentistry,\n\nprivate or governmental grants or gifts of property, equipment or\n\nmoney for the use of said College.\n\n(e) It is the purpose and intent of the Legislature that the\n\nUniversity of Oklahoma School of Dentistry, herein created, shall be\n\nan integral part of the University of Oklahoma and of the Oklahoma\n\nState System of Higher Education.
