Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3415","heading":"Greenhouse Research Fund - Agricultural Products Fund -","body":"Pecan research.\n\n(a) The fund now existing in the State Treasury and known as the\n\nOklahoma State University of Agriculture and Applied Science,\n\nAgricultural Research Greenhouse Fund shall continue in operation\n\nwith the same name. Said fund shall continue to consist of all\n\nrevenues, gifts, donations and endowments accruing to the credit of\n\nOklahoma State University of Agriculture and Applied Science from\n\nthe wheat and small grains industry or other private endowments.\n\nRevenue deposited in said fund is hereby appropriated and the fund\n\nshall be of a continuing nature and not subject to fiscal year\n\nlimitations.\n\n(b) It is the intent of the Legislature that the fund specified\n\nin this section shall be used by Oklahoma State University of\n\nAgriculture and Applied Science for the payment of all necessary\n\nexpenses including personal services, purchase of equipment and\n\nother capital outlay necessary in sponsoring, erecting, constructing\n\nand maintaining an agricultural research greenhouse on the farm of\n\nthe Oklahoma State University of Agriculture and Applied Science.\n\n(c) Upon certification by the director of said agricultural\n\nexperiment station that Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) has been\n\nmade available by the wheat and small grains industry of Oklahoma or\n\nby private endowment, the State Budget Director is hereby authorized\n\nto cause to be made a transfer of funds from the General Revenue\n\nFund to the Oklahoma State University Agricultural Research\n\nGreenhouse Fund created by Section 415(a) of this act.\n\n(d) The fund previously created for the use of the Oklahoma\n\nAgricultural Research Station and known as the Oklahoma Agricultural\n\nProducts Research Fund shall continue in operation and shall consist\n\nof any monies appropriated by the Legislature and any funds received\n\nby gift or from the federal government to be used for the purpose\n\nspecified herein.\n\nThe proceeds of the fund authorized to be appropriated by the\n\nprovisions of this act, and any funds received by gift or from the\n\nfederal government to be used for the purpose provided in this\n\nsection shall be expended by the Oklahoma State University\n\nAgricultural Experiment Station for research and development of new,\n\nadditional, and improved uses for agricultural products. The\n\nexperiment station shall have power and authority, within the limits\n\nof the funds available to it, to coordinate and expedite activities\n\ntoward research.\n\nThe Director of the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station is\n\nhereby authorized and empowered to acquire title on behalf of the\n\nState of Oklahoma to any patent or patents resulting from research\n\nprojects conducted with funds of the Oklahoma Agricultural Products\n\nResearch Fund, as herein provided.\n\nThe Director of the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station,\n\nwith the approval of the Governor, is hereby authorized and\n\nempowered to grant licenses or otherwise dispose of any patents\n\nresulting from research conducted with funds of the Oklahoma\n\nAgricultural Products Research Fund on a basis deemed by him to be\n\nmost favorable to the State of Oklahoma.\n\nAny royalties or other income derived from the licensing, sale,\n\nor use of any patent or patents resulting from research projects\n\nconducted with funds of the Oklahoma Agricultural Products Research\n\nFund shall be paid into the Oklahoma Agricultural Products Research\n\nFund to be used for the purposes of the Oklahoma Agricultural\n\nProducts Research Fund.\ne\n\nmost favorable to the State of Oklahoma.\n\nAny royalties or other income derived from the licensing, sale,\n\nor use of any patent or patents resulting from research projects\n\nconducted with funds of the Oklahoma Agricultural Products Research\n\nFund shall be paid into the Oklahoma Agricultural Products Research\n\nFund to be used for the purposes of the Oklahoma Agricultural\n\nProducts Research Fund.\n\n(e) The pecan experiment station previously established in\n\nLincoln County, Oklahoma, shall continue in operation and be known\n\nby the same name. It shall be devoted to the improvement of the\n\ngrade and amount of production of pecans in Oklahoma.\n\nSaid experiment station shall continue to be operated under the\n\ndirection and supervision of the Oklahoma State University of\n\nAgriculture and Applied Science.
