It is the intent of the Legislature that the President of\n\nOklahoma State University appoint members to an Advisory Council for\n\nthe Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, such\n\ncouncil members to serve at the pleasure of the President. The\n\nAdvisory Council shall have seven (7) members, none of whom shall be\n\nemployees of the state or engaged in business with Oklahoma State\n\nUniversity or any agency thereof by means of any contract or\n\nbusiness transaction involving a financial consideration. The\n\nappointment of members shall be made from a list of not less than\n\nthree names per member submitted by the Oklahoma Osteopathic\n\nAssociation.\n\nB. It is the intent of the Legislature that the Advisory\n\nCouncil advise the administrative officers of the college, the\n\nadministrative officers of the university, and the Board of Regents\n\nfor the Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical Colleges regarding the\n\nprofessional preparation of doctors of osteopathic medicine in the\n\nfield of general practice and regarding the general development and\n\nimprovement of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic\n\nMedicine as an agency and an integral part of Oklahoma State\n\nUniversity.\n\nC.
