Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3508","heading":"Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges - Oaths - Travel","body":"expenses - Attendance at meetings of Board - Employment of former\n\nBoard member prohibited.\n\n(a) Each member of the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges\n\nshall take and subscribe to oaths required of State officials\n\ngenerally.\n\n(b) Each member of the Board shall be allowed necessary travel\n\nexpenses, as may be approved by the Board, pursuant to the State\n\nTravel Reimbursement Act.\n\n(c) If any member of the Board fails to attend a meeting of the\n\nBoard more than two consecutive meetings, without the consent of a\n\nmajority of the Board, the Governor shall declare such member's\n\noffice vacant and shall appoint his successor for the unexpired\n\nterm.\n\n(d) No member of the Board shall be eligible to be an officer,\n\nsupervisor, president, instructor or employee of any state\n\neducational institution under the supervision, management or control\n\nof the Board within two (2) years from the date of expiration of his\n\nterm.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"1f0b97acd084c95a5ff64b8276cab0b6b076ad6ade4c893381efd46e0866e36f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3507.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
