Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3512","heading":"Board of Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College -","body":"Membership - Powers and duties.\n\nA. The Board of Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College shall\n\nconsist of seven (7) members appointed by the Governor, by and with\n\nthe advice and consent of the Senate. The regular term of each\n\nmember shall be seven (7) years, except that the initial\n\nappointments shall be for lesser terms so that the term of only one\n\nmember shall expire each year.\n\nB. The Board of Regents of Eastern Oklahoma State College shall\n\nbe a body corporate, and shall adopt and use an official seal. It\n\nshall annually elect a chairman, a vice chairman, and a secretary,\n\neach of whom shall serve for a term of one (1) fiscal year and until\n\nhis successor is elected and qualified, and who shall perform such\n\nduties as the Board directs. The Board shall adopt rules and\n\nregulations as it deems necessary for the governing of the Board and\n\nthe discharge of its duties, and shall cause to be kept the minutes\n\nof all meetings and transactions considered at each meeting in a\n\nsuitable book to be obtained and kept for such purpose.
