Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3602","heading":"Board of Regents of the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts","body":"- Appointment and terms of members - Eligibility - Vacancies.\n\n(a) There is hereby created the Board of Regents of the Oklahoma\n\nCollege of Liberal Arts, which shall consist of seven (7) members,\n\nto be appointed by the Governor, by and with the consent of the\n\nSenate. Appointments shall be to numbered positions on the Board,\n\nand the terms of members of the Board shall be as follows:\n\n(1) Position No. 1. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1966, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(2) Position No. 2. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1967, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(3) Position No. 3. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1968, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(4) Position No. 4. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1969, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(5) Position No. 5. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1970, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(6) Position No. 6. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1971, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(7) Position No. 7. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1972, and each seven (7) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(b) Vacancies in appointive positions on the Board shall be\n\nfilled by the Governor for the unexpired term, by and with the\n\nadvice and consent of the Senate.\n\n(c) No member of the Board shall be employed upon any work to be\n\nperformed in connection with the Oklahoma College of Liberal Arts,\n\nnor shall any member of said Board enter into any contract or\n\nbusiness transaction involving a financial consideration with the\n\nOklahoma College of Liberal Arts.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"4834fbc50f40e0e5a49675a324e34d1af92ff13f749aa5d4a14006b43ff7a66a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3601.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3603"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
