Stat. tit. 70, § 70-3702","heading":"Board of Regents of Northern Oklahoma College -","body":"Eligibility - Appointment and terms of members - Vacancies.\n\n(a) There is hereby created the Board of Regents of the Northern\n\nOklahoma College, which shall consist of five (5) members appointed\n\nby the Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate.\n\nNo two members of the Board shall be chosen from the same profession\n\nor occupation, nor shall more than three members of the Board be\n\nfrom the same county. Provided that persons now serving on such\n\nBoard shall be members of and continue to serve on the Board herein\n\ncreated in Position Number 1, Position Number 2, and Position Number\n\n3 as designated by the Governor. Appointments shall be to numbered\n\npositions on the Board, and the terms of members of the Board shall\n\nbe as follows:\n\n(1) Position No. 1. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1966, and each five (5) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(2) Position No. 2. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1967, and each five (5) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(3) Position No. 3. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1968, and each five (5) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(4) Position No. 4. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1969, and each five (5) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(5) Position No. 5. The term of office of one member shall\n\nexpire on the 30th day of June, 1970, and each five (5) years\n\nthereafter.\n\n(b) Vacancies on the Board shall be filled by the Governor for\n\nthe unexpired term, by and with the advice and consent of the\n\nSenate.\n\n(c) No member of the Board shall be employed in connection with\n\nany work to be performed at Northern Oklahoma College, nor shall any\n\nmember of the Board enter into any contract or business transaction,\n\ninvolving a financial consideration, with Northern Oklahoma College.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"413ce99afd4aa65264e8b150120f319a2815b744af8c3800fdb9bb7d27661165","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3701","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-3703"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
