There is hereby created a trust fund to be known as the\n\n\"Oklahoma Tuition Equalization Grant Trust Fund\". The Oklahoma\n\nState Regents for Higher Education shall be the trustees of the\n\nTrust Fund.\n\nB. The State Regents shall utilize the Trust Fund to implement\n\nthe provisions of Sections 1 through 3 of this act.\n\nC. The Trust Fund principal shall consist of monies the\n\nLegislature appropriates or transfers to the State Regents for the\n\nTrust Fund and any monies or assets contributed to the Trust Fund\n\nfrom any other source, public or private.\n\nD. Notwithstanding other provisions of law, income and\n\ninvestment return on Trust Fund principal shall accrue to the Trust\n\nFund for use as provided by authorization of the trustees for the\n\npurposes provided in Sections 1 through 3 of this act. The State\n\nRegents may also utilize the Trust Fund principal for the purposes\n\nprovided in Sections 1 through 3 of this act. Except as otherwise\n\nprovided by law, no such income or investment return or principal\n\nshall be used for administrative expenses; expenses incurred by the\n\nState Regents in the administration of the Trust Fund and of the\n\nOklahoma Tuition Equalization Grant Program established by this act\n\nshall be paid from monies appropriated to the State Regents’\n\ncoordinating board for their general operating budget.\n\nE. The State Regents shall adopt rules for accomplishing\n\ntransfer of funds from the Oklahoma Tuition Equalization Grant Trust\n\nFund to the appropriate private institution for payment of a portion\n\nof the tuition for eligible students pursuant to this act.\n\nAllocations from the Trust Fund may be made only for the purpose of\n\npayment of a portion of the tuition for eligible students.
