Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4-201","heading":"Transfer and preservation of records - Additional","body":"salaries.\n\nAll records of a former county superintendent of schools shall\n\nbe transferred to and are to be maintained and preserved by the\n\ncounty clerk of the county, who shall designate a deputy, aide,\n\nassistant or other employee of the county clerk's office to perform\n\nsuch duties. The County Commissioners shall make space available in\n\nwhich the records can be maintained, preserved and made secure.\n\nExcept for those records specifically required by state or federal\n\nstatutes to be kept confidential, public access shall be made\n\navailable to all of the records.\n\nAfter the records of a former county superintendent of schools\n\nare transferred to and the responsibility of maintaining the records\n\nare assigned to a deputy, aide, assistant or other employee of the\n\ncounty clerk's office, the county clerk and county commissioners of\n\nthe county shall recommend to the county excise board that\n\nadditional salary be considered for the employee based upon the\n\nadditional responsibilities if funds are available and approved.\n\nAny additional salary of such employee shall be subject to the\n\nlimitations set forth in Section 180.65 of Title 19 of the Oklahoma\n\nStatutes.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e71fe70a7b8657c197d79c444d24d9bcfb4926eeb09e1c77b47d310ed9777f6e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4-104","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4001"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
