Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4015","heading":"Community junior colleges - Social and recreation centers","body":"- Revenue bonds.\n\nA. The board of trustees of any community junior college\n\noperating under the provisions of Sections 4401 through 4418 of\n\nTitle 70, Oklahoma Statutes, may construct a building for use as a\n\nsocial and recreation center for the students and members of the\n\nfaculty of the college, including lounges, meeting rooms, game\n\nrooms, bookstores, eating places and other facilities for the\n\ncomfort, convenience and welfare of students and faculty members,\n\nand issue revenue bonds to pay the cost of constructing, equipping\n\nand furnishing the building. The Board of Trustees shall adopt\n\nrules and regulations for the use of the building and the operation\n\nof the center and facilities thereof; and may do all things\n\nnecessary or convenient to make the center effective for the\n\npurposes for which it is maintained or operated.\n\nB. Issuance of the revenue bonds shall be in accordance with\n\nprocedures prescribed by the Attorney General. The bonds shall be\n\nspecial obligations, payable solely from revenues designated by the\n\nBoard of Trustees, which may, subject to the approval of the\n\nOklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, include fees and\n\ncharges collected from students in attendance at the college, and\n\nincome derived from operations of facilities of the center.\n\nProvided, such building shall not be constructed nor shall any\n\nrevenue bonds be issued unless the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation shall have determined that the projected revenue will\n\nsatisfy the financial obligation to be incurred under the proposed\n\nbond issue.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"a71b8639e4febee8bf8b67bc0733b00a86fed079288fa431a1965ff16d143b31","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4014","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4016"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
