Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4312","heading":"General public liability insurance on university","body":"employees.\n\nBoards of Regents, institutions and agencies comprising the\n\nOklahoma State System of Higher Education are hereby authorized to\n\ncarry general public liability insurance on their employees limited\n\nto their official assigned duties at said university and to pay the\n\npremiums therefor out of non-state-appropriated funds for the\n\nfollowing kinds of insurance, not to exceed the limits indicated:\n\n1. Bodily injury liability, Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)\n\neach person, Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) each accident;\n\n2. Property damage liability, Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00)\n\neach accident; and\n\n3. Medical expense, One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00).\n\nSuch insurance shall be on standard policy forms approved by the\n\nInsurance Commissioner with companies authorized to do business in\n\nOklahoma. To the extent that an insurer has provided indemnity in a\n\ncontract of insurance to the Board of Regents, an institution or an\n\nagency to which the act applies, the said insurer may not plead as a\n\ndefense in any action involving insurance purchased pursuant to this\n\nact the governmental immunity of either the State of Oklahoma or of\n\nany political subdivision or agency thereof which has purchased\n\ninsurance authorized by this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8585265f7a7f857fa222168a19bffef4a9aed382d1c478e6d06ebbd6e358decf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4308","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4313"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
