Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4410","heading":"Authorization for junior colleges to become technology","body":"center schools.\n\nAny community maintaining a community junior college as provided\n\nby Sections 4401 - 4409 of this title, in which courses in\n\nvocational and/or technical education are to be offered, and meeting\n\nthe published standards and criteria prescribed by law and/or the\n\nState Board of Career and Technology Education for establishing a\n\ntechnology center school district may, by resolution adopted by the\n\nBoard of Trustees of the college, become a technology center school\n\ndistrict; and laws applicable to other technology center school\n\ndistricts, including laws authorizing tax levies and laws pertaining\n\nto eligibility for participation in federal funds, shall be\n\napplicable to such district, except that in lieu of a board of\n\neducation its governing board shall be the Board of Trustees of the\n\ncommunity junior college; provided that the provision above shall\n\nalso be applicable to all community and municipal junior colleges\n\nnow in existence in Oklahoma.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b6f9022b97fd8f853dfbbb5625233341bace43810fa7c0ce1b9d66a98ec73291","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4408","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-4411"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
