Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4411","heading":"Two-year colleges to become technology center school","body":"districts by resolution of Regents for Higher Education -\n\nEligibility for federal funds.\n\nIt is further provided that a two-year college which is a part\n\nof The Oklahoma State System of Higher Education may become a\n\ntechnology center school district for the purpose of providing\n\npostsecondary vocational and/or technical education programs and\n\nservices within an area to be geographically defined by the Oklahoma\n\nState Regents for Higher Education. Two-year state colleges thus\n\ndesignated as technology center districts by resolution of the State\n\nRegents for Higher Education shall be eligible to receive federal\n\nfunds for vocational-technical education. Exclusive management and\n\ncontrol of higher education institutions now vested by law in the\n\ngoverning boards and the State Regents for Higher Education shall\n\nremain unchanged by present provisions. The college technology\n\ncenter districts which receive federal vocational education funds\n\nfrom the State Board of Career and Technology Education shall comply\n\nwith the standards and rules established by the State Board of\n\nCareer and Technology Education that are applicable to programs\n\nfederally funded.
