Stat. tit. 70, § 70-4415","heading":"Communities as area school districts - Authorization to","body":"issue bonds and levy taxes.\n\nAny community that has heretofore been or that may hereafter be\n\nauthorized to establish a junior college by order of the Oklahoma\n\nState Regents for Higher Education pursuant to Chapter 100, Oklahoma\n\nSession Laws 1967, as amended (70 O.S. Supp. 1968, Sections 4401 -\n\n4409), and that has been or may be declared to be an area school\n\ndistrict by resolution of the Board of Trustees of the junior\n\ncollege, may, through the Board of Trustees of the community\n\ncollege, in accordance with Section 9B, Article X, Oklahoma\n\nConstitution, issue general obligation bonds in the same manner as\n\nbonds are issued by independent school districts, and cause taxes to\n\nbe levied against all taxable property in the community to meet\n\npayment of principal and interest of the bonds under the procedure\n\nprescribed for bonds of independent school districts; and may make\n\nlevies as provided by Sections 9B and 10, Article X, Oklahoma\n\nConstitution, and Section 5 of Chapter 321, Oklahoma Session Laws\n\n1967 (70 O.S.
