Each district board of education shall ensure that students\n\nin elementary schools do not have access to foods of minimal\n\nnutritional value except on special occasions.\n\nB. Each district board of education shall ensure that students\n\nin middle and junior high schools do not have access to foods of\n\nminimal nutritional value except after school, at events which take\n\nplace in the evening, and on special occasions. The only exception\n\nto the minimal nutritional value standard will be diet soda with\n\nless than ten (10) calories per bottle or can.\n\nC. Each district board of education shall ensure that students\n\nin high schools are provided healthy food options in addition to any\n\nfoods of minimal nutritional value to which they may have access at\n\nschool. Each district shall provide incentives, such as lower\n\nprices or other incentives, to encourage healthy food choices for\n\nhigh school students.\n\nD. For purposes of this section, “foods of minimal nutritional\n\nvalue” means any foods so defined in 7 CFR 210.11 and listed in\n\nAppendix B of the regulations for the National School Lunch Program.\n\nE.
