Stat. tit. 70, § 70-5-148","heading":"Security drills","body":"Each district board of education shall ensure that a minimum of\n\nfour security drills are conducted at each public school within the\n\ndistrict each school year. No security drill shall be conducted at\n\nthe same time of day as a previous security drill conducted in the\n\nsame school year, and no more than two security drills shall be\n\nconducted in one semester. One security drill shall be conducted\n\nwithin the first fifteen (15) days of each semester. Additional\n\ndrills may be conducted at the discretion of the district. Security\n\ndrills shall be conducted for the purpose of securing school\n\nbuildings to prevent or mitigate injuries or deaths that may result\n\nfrom a threat around or in the school. The drills shall conform to\n\nthe written plans and procedures adopted by the district as required\n\nby Section 681 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
