There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving\n\nfund for the State Department of Education to be designated the\n\n\"School Security Revolving Fund\". The fund shall be a continuing\n\nfund, not subject to fiscal year limitations, and shall consist of\n\nall monies received by the State Department of Education from:\n\n1. Reimbursements, grants, or other monies received from other\n\nstate agencies and entities for school security;\n\n2. Reimbursements, grants, or other monies received from the\n\nUnited States government obligated to school security projects;\n\n3. Gifts, donations, and bequests; and\n\n4. Monies appropriated or apportioned by the Legislature.\n\nB. All monies accruing to the credit of the School Security\n\nRevolving Fund are hereby appropriated and may be budgeted and\n\nexpended by the State Department of Education for the purposes of:\n\n1. Establishing and maintaining a School Resource Officer\n\nProgram; and\n\n2. Providing physical security enhancements for schools\n\nincluding, but not limited to, school resource officers, cameras,\n\ngates, lighting, locks, doors, windows, security geofencing,\n\nballistic storm shelters, and mobile panic alert systems.\n\nMonies in the School Security Revolving Fund shall supplement\n\nand not supplant existing school security funding.\n\nC. Expenditures from the School Security Revolving Fund shall\n\nbe made upon warrants issued by the State Treasurer against claims\n\nfiled as prescribed by law with the Director of the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services for approval and payment.\n\nExpenditures from the School Security Revolving Fund shall not\n\nexceed Fifty Million Dollars ($50,000,000.00) in any fiscal year and\n\nshall be divided equally among every public school district in the\n\nstate.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2ef88c866e2b353ebb89b624263e93bb0a4641b0af967c19470df30f82e23cd1","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-5-148.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-5-148.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
