Stat. tit. 70, § 70-5-149.4","heading":"Short title — Alyssa's Law — Mobile panic alert system","body":"implementation.\n\nA. This act shall be known and may be cited as “Alyssa’s Law”.\n\nB. Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, each school\n\ndistrict in this state shall implement a mobile panic alert system.\n\nThe system shall:\n\n1. Connect emergency service technologies to ensure real-time\n\ncoordination among multiple first responder agencies; and\n\n2. Integrate with public safety answering point infrastructure\n\nto transmit 9-1-1 calls and mobile activations.\n\nC. The State Board of Education shall adopt a list of approved\n\nmobile panic alert systems. At a minimum, an approved school\n\nsecurity alert and response system shall:\n\n1. Automatically alert designated school personnel when an\n\nemergency response is initiated on-site by smartphone application,\n\nphone call, text message, or other technology;\n\n2. Provide emergency responders with floor plans, caller\n\nlocation, and other information to assist emergency responders\n\nduring a 9-1-1 call; and\n\n3.
