Stat. tit. 70, § 70-5-152","heading":"Applicability optional","body":"The School District Budget Act shall be optional and shall apply\n\nonly to a school district which, by resolution of the governing\n\nbody, votes to comply with the provisions of the School District\n\nBudget Act. If the governing body of a school district votes to\n\ncomply with the School District Budget Act to govern its budget\n\nprocedures, the provisions of the School District Budget Act shall\n\ntake precedence over any other state laws applicable to school\n\nbudgets, except as otherwise provided by the School District Budget\n\nAct.
