Stat. tit. 70, § 70-5-160","heading":"Interaccount and interfund transfers","body":"The chief executive officer, or designee, as authorized by the\n\ngoverning body, may transfer any unexpended and unencumbered\n\nappropriation or any portion thereof from one account to another\n\nwithin the same fund; except that no appropriation for debt service\n\nor other appropriation required by law or regulation may be reduced\n\nbelow the minimums required. Other interfund transfers may be made\n\nonly as authorized by this act or as provided in the budget as\n\nadopted or amended according to this act.
