Stat. tit. 70, § 70-5-185","heading":"When check or warrant due – Enforcement of liability","body":"Without regard to the time when funds may be collected and are\n\navailable to pay a check or warrant issued by a school district, any\n\nschool district check or warrant shall be due one (1) year after the\n\nclose of the fiscal year for which the check or warrant was issued\n\nand action may be commenced in any court of competent jurisdiction\n\nto enforce the liability evidenced by the check or warrant.
