The State Board of Education shall promulgate standards of\n\nperformance and conduct for teachers. A copy of such standards, any\n\namendments to such standards and any standards adopted by the board\n\nof education of the school district shall be provided by the board\n\nof education of each school district to each teacher on or before\n\nApril 10 of each year.\n\nB. The State Board of Education shall include the statutory\n\ngrounds for dismissal and nonreemployment of career teachers within\n\nthis standards document.\n\nC. Standards which may be adopted by the board of education of\n\na school district shall not conflict with state or federal law or\n\nstandards promulgated by the State Board of Education.\n\nD. In determining whether or not the professional performance\n\nof a teacher is adequate, the standards adopted by the State Board\n\nof Education shall be considered. Consideration may be given to any\n\nwritten standards of performance which have been adopted by any\n\nother education-oriented organization or agency.
