A school support employee as defined in Section 6-101.40 of\n\nthis title shall be dismissed or not reemployed, unless a\n\npresidential or gubernatorial pardon has been issued, if during the\n\nterm of employment such employee is convicted in this state, the\n\nUnited States or another state of:\n\n1. Any sex offense subject to the Sex Offenders Registration\n\nAct in this state or subject to another state's or the federal sex\n\noffender registration provisions; or\n\n2. Any felony offense.\n\nB. A school support employee may be dismissed, refused\n\nemployment or not reemployed after a finding that such person has\n\nengaged in criminal sexual activity or sexual misconduct that has\n\nimpeded the effectiveness of the individual's performance of school\n\nduties.
