No later than October 1 of each year, the State Department\n\nof Education shall provide written notice to the last-known address\n\nof any individual who held any license or certificate issued by the\n\nState Board of Education which expired on June 30 of the same year.\n\nNotice shall also be provided to the last-known district which\n\nemployed any such individual.\n\nB. If any individual whose license or certificate issued by the\n\nState Board of Education has expired submits a renewal application\n\nand processing fee by December 31 of the year in which the license\n\nor certificate has expired, such license or certificate shall be\n\nrenewed with an effective date of July 1 of the year in which the\n\nlicense or certificate has expired, unless other statutory basis\n\nexists for denying such renewal.\n\nC. If any individual whose license or certificate issued by the\n\nState Board of Education has expired submits a renewal application\n\nand processing fee after December 31 of the year in which the\n\nlicense or certificate has expired, such license or certificate\n\nshall be renewed with an effective date in accordance with State\n\nDepartment of Education rules, unless another statutory basis exists\n\nfor denying such renewal.\n\nD.
