The Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability\n\nshall establish the Teaching Certification Scholarship Program. The\n\npurpose of the program shall be to provide qualifying teacher\n\ncandidates who are seeking certification with a scholarship toward\n\nthe cost of competency examinations required by Section 6-187 of\n\nTitle 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes, subject to the availability of\n\nfunds.\n\nB. The Commission shall establish eligibility criteria for the\n\nTeaching Certification Scholarship Program.\n\nC. Scholarships granted pursuant to this section shall be\n\nlimited to one per teacher candidate.\n\nD. A teacher candidate who accepts a scholarship shall be\n\nrequired to submit to the Commission a declaration to teach for a\n\nminimum of one (1) year in an accredited school district in\n\nOklahoma.
