Stat. tit. 70, § 70-6-187E","heading":"Requirements for teacher candidates enrolled in","body":"educator preparation programs.\n\nA. The Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability\n\nshall establish student teaching requirements for teacher candidates\n\nwho are enrolled in an educator preparation program accredited by\n\nthe Commission. The requirements shall include:\n\n1. Completion of a minimum number of weeks of field experience;\n\nor\n\n2. Completion of a qualified job-embedded, competency-based\n\nteacher registered apprenticeship program. For the purposes of this\n\nsection, “teacher registered apprenticeship program” means a\n\nstructured program that combines on-the-job training with academic\n\ninstruction to prepare individuals to become teachers.\n\nB.
