Stat. tit. 70, § 70-625.4","heading":"Rules and regulations","body":"The Commission shall promulgate and adopt such rules and\n\nregulations as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this\n\nact. The Commission shall prescribe the form and regulate the\n\nsubmission of applications for scholarship; conduct conferences and\n\ninterviews with applicants; determine the eligibility of applicants;\n\nallow or disallow all applications for scholarships or renewal of\n\nscholarships; contract, increase, decrease, terminate and otherwise\n\nregulate all grants for scholarships and their repayment in cash or\n\nservices; and manage, operate and control all funds and property\n\nappropriated or otherwise contributed for this purpose. The\n\nCommission may acquire property or money by the acceptance of gifts,\n\ngrants, bequests or devise, and may contract with the federal\n\ngovernment in order to secure the benefit of any federal program\n\nconsistent with the provisions of this act. Monies received by the\n\nCommission in repayment of scholarships granted from appropriated\n\nfunds shall be deposited with the State Treasurer who shall place\n\nthe same to the credit of the Commission in depository funds to be\n\nknown as the \"Rural Medical Education Scholarship Fund\" and the\n\n\"Community Physician Education Scholarship Fund\" depending on the\n\nprogram in which the recipient participated, under and subject\n\nexclusively to the control of the Commission for the purpose of\n\nfulfilling and accomplishing the conditions and purposes of the\n\nHealth Care Workforce Training Commission. All monies so collected\n\nand deposited in the State Treasury as aforesaid shall constitute a\n\ncontinuing fund, shall not be subject to fiscal limitations, and the\n\nunexpended balance shall at all times be available for expenditures\n\nfor the purposes and in the manner and form provided by this act.\n\nAll funds and property, and income therefrom, received by the\n\nCommission through the acceptance of gifts, grants, bequests or\n\ndevise shall be held by the Commission in trust, and may be sold,\n\ntransferred, invested and reinvested by the Commission in accordance\n\nwith the provisions of the Oklahoma Trust Act, and all such funds\n\nand property, and income therefrom, shall be used by the Commission\n\nin fulfilling and accomplishing the conditions and purposes of the\n\nHealth Care Workforce Training Commission.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"37058d1b9cbd5f99277df5f899d894dccb49c470478874dc707f5af61ba4db44","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-625.3","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-625.4a"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
