Stat. tit. 70, § 70-626.7","heading":"Awarding of grant - Amount","body":"A college tuition aid grant may be awarded annually to each\n\neligible, qualified full-time or part-time undergraduate or graduate\n\nstudent enrolled in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate\n\nin an institution of collegiate grade or postsecondary institution\n\nproviding a program of training to prepare students for employment\n\nin a recognized occupation in Oklahoma approved or accredited by the\n\nOklahoma State Regents for Higher Education or appropriate\n\npostsecondary agency. Eligible programs of training shall include\n\ncomprehensive transition and postsecondary programs approved by the\n\nUnited States Department of Education. College tuition aid grants\n\nshall be awarded in accordance with the following:\n\n1. Eligibility. Each full-time or part-time resident student\n\nshall be eligible to receive a grant in an amount as provided in\n\nparagraph 2 of this section. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher\n\nEducation shall determine by rules and regulations the maximum\n\nnumber of semesters a student may be eligible for grants. No\n\nstudent shall be eligible for grants unless the student maintains\n\nminimum standards of academic performance as are required by the\n\ninstitution in which the student is enrolled.\n\nIn the event a student for any reason ceases to continue to be\n\nenrolled during the course of an academic year, the student shall\n\ncease to be eligible for tuition aid; and\n\n2. Amount of grant. The amount of tuition aid grant to any\n\nstudent under the Oklahoma Higher Education Tuition Aid Act for any\n\nsemester shall represent a percentage not greater than seventy-five\n\npercent (75%) of the tuition and enrollment fees normally charged to\n\nresidents of this state by the institution of attendance. The\n\nOklahoma State Regents for Higher Education shall determine by rules\n\nthe annual maximum award amount based on an annual assessment of\n\nfunds availability.\n\nFinancial assistance received under the Oklahoma Higher\n\nEducation Tuition Aid Act shall be considered as part of a student’s\n\nfinancial aid package.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"19ba9b132f32996aa99606f3361a0443d062eeeb556a145aa390829aa8a78294","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-626.6","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-626.8"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
