Stat. tit. 70, § 70-697.12","heading":"Cost-sharing scholarship program for physician services","body":"at correctional facilities.\n\nThe Health Care Workforce Training Commission shall establish\n\nand administer a cost-sharing scholarship program for the provision\n\nof physician services at the various correctional facilities under\n\nthe Department of Corrections and the surrounding or nearby\n\ncommunities. Except as otherwise specified herein, the scholarship\n\nprogram shall be administered pursuant to the requirements\n\nprescribed by law for and as part of the Oklahoma Community\n\nEducation Scholarship Program. Each scholarship available hereunder\n\nshall be funded on a percentage cost-sharing basis as follows: One-\n\nhalf (1/2) of the costs to be provided by the Commission, one-fourth\n\n(1/4) of the costs to be provided by the Department of Corrections\n\nand one-fourth (1/4) of the costs to be provided by a community.\n\nEach physician, who has participated in the scholarship program\n\nhereunder, shall devote one-half (1/2) of his or her professional\n\ntime to medical care and treatment of inmates at a state\n\ncorrectional facility and one-half (1/2) of his or her professional\n\ntime to medical services in the community which shared the cost of a\n\nscholarship hereunder, for the period of time as required under the\n\nOklahoma Community Education Scholarship Program.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"b83a3187634d709547df777deebb78f63509213626bed3428c11737565753e59","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-697.11","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-697.13"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
