Stat. tit. 70, § 70-8-103.2","heading":"Extramural athletic competition for transfer student","body":"not residing in district.\n\nExcept as otherwise provided, a student who enrolls, pursuant to\n\nthe Education Open Transfer Act or pursuant to Section 2 of this\n\nact, in a school district in which the student is not a resident\n\nshall not be eligible to participate in school-related extramural\n\nathletic competition governed by the Oklahoma Secondary School\n\nActivities Association for a period of one (1) year from the first\n\nday of attendance at the receiving school unless the transfer is\n\nfrom a school district which does not offer the grade the student is\n\nentitled to pursue. If the student is granted an emergency transfer\n\npursuant to Section 8-104 of this title, was granted a transfer for\n\nany reason prior to January 1, 2000, or enrolls pursuant to the\n\nEducation Open Transfer Act and qualifies for a hardship waiver\n\npursuant to the rules of the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities\n\nAssociation, eligibility to participate in school-related extramural\n\nathletic competition shall be determined by the Oklahoma Secondary\n\nSchool Activities Association.","path":["OK Code","Title 70"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os70.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"e348202f03e87f0fa15ca56af4c57c878e5ea161a0d5ae4873e9a9a8c48dd3a7","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-8-103.1","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-70-70-8-106"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
