Stat. tit. 70, § 70-8003","heading":"Center for the Study of Literacy - Responsibilities","body":"It is the intent of the Legislature that the Center for the\n\nStudy of Literacy located at Northeastern State University be\n\nresponsible for:\n\n1. Establishment of a clearinghouse for the exchange of\n\ninformation and sharing of ideas regarding successful literacy\n\nprograms and opportunities for funding;\n\n2. In cooperation with the Department of Education and the\n\nDepartment of Libraries, provision of assistance for the writing of\n\napplications for grants related to literacy;\n\n3. Establishment of a statewide directory of literacy programs\n\nand related services, sorted by county and cross-referenced with\n\nsupport services, with the Clearinghouse for Literacy responsible\n\nfor gathering, maintaining and disseminating the referral directory;\n\nand\n\n4.
