Stat. tit. 70, § 70-820.11","heading":"Notice to educational institution","body":"NOTICE TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.\n\nA. In this section, \"communicating or attempting to\n\ncommunicate\" means contacting or attempting to contact by an in-\n\nperson meeting, a record or any other method that conveys or\n\nattempts to convey a message.\n\nB. Not later than seventy-two (72) hours after entering into an\n\nagency contract or before the next scheduled athletic event in which\n\nthe student athlete may participate, whichever occurs first, the\n\nathlete agent shall give notice in a record of the existence of the\n\ncontract to the athletic director of the educational institution at\n\nwhich the athlete is enrolled or at which the agent has reasonable\n\ngrounds to believe the athlete intends to enroll.\n\nC. Not later than seventy-two (72) hours after entering into an\n\nagency contract or before the next scheduled athletic event in which\n\nthe student athlete may participate, whichever occurs first, the\n\nathlete shall inform the athletic director of the educational\n\ninstitution at which the athlete is enrolled that the athlete has\n\nentered into an agency contract and the name and contact information\n\nof the athlete agent.\n\nD. If an athlete agent enters into an agency contract with a\n\nstudent athlete and the athlete subsequently enrolls at an\n\neducational institution, the agent shall notify the athletic\n\ndirector of the institution of the existence of the contract not\n\nlater than seventy-two (72) hours after the agent knew or should\n\nhave known the athlete enrolled.\n\nE. If an athlete agent has a relationship with a student\n\nathlete before the athlete enrolls in an educational institution and\n\nreceives an athletic scholarship from the institution, the agent\n\nshall notify the institution of the relationship not later than ten\n\n(10) days after the enrollment if the agent knows or should have\n\nknown of the enrollment and:\n\n1. The relationship was motivated in whole or part by the\n\nintention of the agent to recruit or solicit the athlete to enter an\n\nagency contract in the future; or\n\n2. The agent directly or indirectly recruited or solicited the\n\nathlete to enter an agency contract before the enrollment.\n\nF. An athlete agent shall give notice in a record to the\n\nathletic director of any educational institution at which a student\n\nathlete is enrolled before the agent communicates or attempts to\n\ncommunicate with:\n\n1. The athlete or, if the athlete is a minor, a parent or\n\nguardian of the athlete to influence the athlete or parent or\n\nguardian to enter into an agency contract; or\n\n2. Another individual to have that individual influence the\n\nathlete or, if the athlete is a minor, the parent or guardian of the\n\nathlete to enter into an agency contract.\n\nG. If a communication or attempt to communicate with an athlete\n\nagent is initiated by a student athlete or another individual on\n\nbehalf of the athlete, the agent shall notify in a record the\n\nathletic director of any educational institution at which the\n\nathlete is enrolled. The notification must be made not later than\n\nten (10) days after the communication or attempt to communicate.\n\nH.
