Stat. tit. 70, § 70-9-103","heading":"Purchase or contract for use of vehicles - Lettering","body":"The board of education of any school district authorized to\n\nfurnish transportation to school children may purchase and maintain\n\nsuitable vehicles for such use and/or may contract with responsible\n\nindividuals or another school district to furnish all or part of\n\nsaid transportation. All such contractors, however, shall be\n\nsubject to statutory provisions relating to the transportation of\n\nschool children.
