Stat. tit. 70, § 70-9-105","heading":"Boundaries of areas of transportation - Definite routes","body":"- Rules and regulations.\n\nA. The State Board of Education shall determine and fix\n\ndefinite boundaries of the area in which each school district shall\n\nprovide transportation for each school. When an elementary school\n\ndistrict is surrounded by an independent school district, the\n\nindependent school district shall be designated as the\n\ntransportation area for the high school students in the elementary\n\nschool district.\n\nB. The State Board of Education is authorized to establish\n\ndefinite routes in each transportation area, and it shall be the\n\nfurther duty of said Board to make rules and regulations as to the\n\nmanner in which said area and routes may be established or changed.\n\nA board of education may provide transportation to students living\n\noutside of the boundaries and routes established by the State Board\n\nof Education.\n\nC.
