Stat. tit. 70, § 70-9-108","heading":"Additional transportation - Expenses","body":"The board of education of any school district furnishing\n\ntransportation is hereby authorized to furnish, in addition to free\n\ntransportation to and from school, transportation within or without\n\nthe district, within or outside of this state, for children\n\nattending the schools of that district, for the purpose of attending\n\ncocurricular and extracurricular activities. Two or more districts\n\nmay enter into agreements for the furnishing of such transportation.\n\nThe expense of any such additional transportation shall be paid by\n\nthe children so transported, by the school activity or school\n\norganization receiving benefit from such transportation, or from\n\nother private sources.
