Stat. tit. 70, § 70-9-111","heading":"Use of fund","body":"The State Board of Education through the Director of Finance is\n\nhereby authorized to use the \"Special Transportation Revolving Fund\"\n\nfor the purchase of pupil-transportation equipment suitable for the\n\ntransportation of children to and from the common schools and to\n\nmake one or more units of such pupil-transportation equipment\n\navailable for use by any school district in the State of Oklahoma\n\nwhich is either required or authorized by statute to provide free\n\ntransportation to and from school for children legally residing in\n\nsuch district or legally transferred thereto and entitled to attend\n\nschool therein, but which school district does not have sufficient\n\nfunds available, and, because of then existing indebtedness, may not\n\nlegally issue its bonds for the purchase of other pupil-\n\ntransportation equipment. Provided, such equipment shall be\n\npurchased from the list of approved equipment as provided for in\n\nSection 9-109 and at a price not greater than the price so approved.\n\nProvided, further, the school board or board of education of any\n\nschool district desiring to rent such equipment shall select from\n\nthe approved list the equipment they desire before the State Board\n\nof Education shall be authorized to purchase transportation\n\nequipment for rental to any district.
