Stat. tit. 71, § 71-644","heading":"Notice to purchaser - Signatures - Rescission of contract","body":"In connection with the offer or disposition of subdivided land\n\nrequired to be registered under this Code:\n\n1. Each contract, agreement or evidence of indebtedness shall\n\nprominently contain upon its face the following notice printed in at\n\nleast sixteen-point bold type which shall be at least four (4) type\n\npoints larger than the body of the document stating:\n\nNOTICE TO PURCHASER\n\nYOU ARE ENTITLED TO CANCEL THIS AGREEMENT AT ANY TIME IF\n\nYOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE PUBLIC OFFERING STATEMENT IN\n\nADVANCE OF YOUR SIGNING THIS AGREEMENT. IN ADDITION, YOU\n\nARE ENTITLED TO CANCEL THIS AGREEMENT FOR ANY REASON WITHIN\n\nFIVE (5) DAYS FROM THE DAY YOU ACTUALLY RECEIVE A LEGIBLE\n\nCOPY OF THIS DOCUMENT. DO NOT SIGN A RECEIPT FOR THIS\n\nDOCUMENT UNLESS YOU HAVE ACTUALLY RECEIVED A LEGIBLE COPY\n\nOF IT.\n\nThe contract, agreement or evidence of indebtedness shall contain\n\nsufficient space upon its face in immediate conjunction with the\n\nabove notice for the signature of each person obligated under such\n\ninstrument. The signature shall acknowledge that such person has\n\nread the notice and received a legible copy of the document.\n\n2. Exercise of the purchaser's right to rescission occurs when\n\nthe purchaser gives written notice to the subdivider or agent at the\n\naddress stated in the contract, agreement, or evidence of\n\nindebtedness. Notice of rescission if given by mail is effective\n\nwhen it is deposited in a mailbox properly addressed and postage\n\nprepaid. A notice of rescission given by a purchaser need not take\n\na particular form and is sufficient if it indicates by any form or\n\nwritten expression the intention of the purchaser not to be bound by\n\nthe contract, agreement or evidence of indebtedness.\n\n3.
