A document is filed when it is received by the\n\nAdministrator.\n\nB. The Administrator shall keep a register of all applications\n\nfor registration pursuant to the Oklahoma Business Opportunity Sales\n\nAct and all orders which have been entered under the act. The\n\nregister and all such orders may be maintained in computer form or\n\nany other form of data storage and shall be open for public\n\ninspection.\n\nC. The information contained in or filed with or subsequent to\n\nany application for registration filed pursuant to this title, or\n\nany report filed with the Administrator may be made available to the\n\npublic under such rules as the Administrator may prescribe.\n\nLitigation files and investigatory files and reports shall be kept\n\nconfidential. If an investigatory file is created as a result of a\n\ncomplaint, grievance or inquiry, the complaint, grievance or inquiry\n\nshall be a part of such investigatory file and the existence of the\n\ncomplaint, grievance or inquiry and the matters and documents\n\ncontained therein shall not be disclosed except pursuant to this\n\ntitle. A settlement agreement may, upon determination of the\n\nAdministrator, remain part of the investigatory file and may be used\n\nagainst the person or entity involved only if the person or entity\n\ninvolved violates the terms of the settlement agreement. The\n\nAdministrator may disclose any information obtained in connection\n\nwith an investigation pursuant to this title for the purpose of a\n\ncivil or administrative action brought by the Administrator, or a\n\ncriminal referral. The Administrator may disclose such information\n\nto a law enforcement agency or another governmental or regulatory\n\nentity so long as the receiving entity represents in writing that\n\nunder applicable law protections exist to preserve the integrity,\n\nconfidentiality, and security of the information.\n\nD. The Administrator in his or her discretion may honor written\n\nrequests from interested persons for interpretive opinions or may\n\nissue determinations that the Administrator will not institute\n\nenforcement proceedings against certain specified persons for\n\nengaging in certain specified activities where the determination is\n\nconsistent with the purposes fairly intended by the policy and\n\nprovisions of this act upon the payment of a fee as set forth in\n\nSection 829 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 71"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os71.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6af8b1944653613346d99d3d47d5b0fef6382ac3169f02fa62b9e083c857c23c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-71-71-816","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-71-71-818"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
