A registering entity offering to accept registrations in\n\nbeneficiary form may establish the terms and conditions under which\n\nit will receive requests for registrations in beneficiary form, and\n\nfor implementation of registrations in beneficiary form, including\n\nrequests for cancellation of previously registered TOD beneficiary\n\ndesignations and requests for reregistration to effect a change of\n\nbeneficiary. The terms and conditions so established may provide\n\nfor, but need not be limited to, the following:\n\n1. Proving death;\n\n2. Avoiding or resolving problems created by the divorce or\n\ndeath of a beneficiary in compliance with Section 178 of Title 15 of\n\nthe Oklahoma Statutes;\n\n3. Avoiding or resolving any problems concerning fractional\n\nshares;\n\n4. Designating primary and contingent beneficiaries; and\n\n5. Substituting a named beneficiary's descendants to take in\n\nthe place of the named beneficiary in the event of the beneficiary's\n\ndeath.\n\nB. Substitution may be indicated by appending to the name of\n\nthe primary beneficiary the letters \"LDPS\", standing for \"lineal\n\ndescendants per stirpes\". This designation substitutes a deceased\n\nbeneficiary's descendants who survive the owner for a beneficiary\n\nwho fails to so survive, the descendants to be identified and to\n\nshare in accordance with the law of the beneficiary's domicile at\n\nthe owner's death governing inheritance by descendants of an\n\nintestate.\n\nC. Other forms of identifying beneficiaries who are to take on\n\none or more contingencies, and rules for providing proofs and\n\nassurances needed to satisfy reasonable concerns by registering\n\nentities regarding conditions and identities relevant to accurate\n\nimplementation of registrations in beneficiary form, may be\n\ncontained in a registering entity's terms and conditions.\n\nD. The following are illustrations of registrations in\n\nbeneficiary form which a registering entity may authorize:\n\n1. Sole owner-sole beneficiary: John S Brown TOD (or POD) John\n\nS Brown Jr.\n\n2. Multiple owners-sole beneficiary: John S Brown Mary B Brown\n\nJT TEN TOD John S Brown Jr.\n\n3.
