Stat. tit. 72, § 72-202","heading":"Management and control","body":"The State Veterans Homes shall be under the management and\n\ncontrol of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs which shall:\n\n1. Make all necessary rules, regulations and procedures for the\n\noperation and management of State Veterans Homes operated by the\n\nOklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs;\n\n2. Ensure compliance with all federal and state statutes and\n\nrules which are applicable to the operation of long-term care\n\nfacilities;\n\n3. Appoint and fix the duties and compensation of State\n\nVeterans Homes administrators and other necessary employees;\n\n4. Provide necessary clothing, food, and care to all residents\n\nincluding medications and proper medical care;\n\n5. Provide for the burial of deceased residents who have no\n\nsurviving relatives or whose relatives do not claim their bodies;\n\nand\n\n6.
