Stat. tit. 72, § 72-303","heading":"Eligibility of veterans","body":"In order for a veteran to qualify for the benefits provided in\n\nthis act, the applicant must:\n\n1. Have an honorable discharge from the armed forces of the\n\nUnited States of America;\n\n2. Have served a minimum of eighteen (18) consecutive months'\n\nactive duty between the dates of August 10, 1964, and December 31,\n\n1976, or shall have been discharged with a service-connected\n\ndisability;\n\n3. Be able to establish that he or she was a bona fide resident\n\nof the State of Oklahoma at the time of entry into the military\n\nservice;\n\n4. Accept the benefits of free tuition within fifteen (15)\n\nyears following his discharge or release from the armed forces; and\n\n5.
