Any employee of the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs\n\nmay be granted administrative leave with pay for volunteer service\n\nactivities, under such terms and limitations as the Executive\n\nDirector may establish, in service to veterans or dependents of\n\nveterans in the State of Oklahoma, which activities meet one or more\n\nof the following criteria:\n\n1. The activity is directly related to the Department's\n\nmission;\n\n2. The activity is sponsored or sanctioned by or in partnership\n\nwith the Department; or\n\n3. The activity will enhance the development or skills of the\n\nemployee in his or her current position.\n\nB. Leave shall be as brief as permitted under the circumstances\n\nand shall not support an activity otherwise prohibited by law while\n\nin a duty status.\n\nC.
