Stat. tit. 72, § 72-49.1","heading":"Removal of disability of minority","body":"The disability of minority of any person otherwise eligible for\n\nguaranty of a loan pursuant to the \"Servicemen's Readjustment Act of\n\n1944\", 78th Congress, as amended, and of the spouse of such person,\n\nis hereby removed for the purposes of enabling such persons to enter\n\ninto valid contracts for the acquiring or encumbering, or selling\n\nand conveying property and the incurring of indebtedness or\n\nobligations incident to either or both, or the refinancing thereof,\n\nand litigating or settling controversies arising therefrom, if all\n\nor part of the obligations or indebtedness incident to such\n\ntransaction are or ultimately may be guaranteed by the administrator\n\nof veteran's affairs pursuant to such act and an application signed\n\nby such minor; and for the purpose of entering into any contract\n\nwith the State of Oklahoma or any political subdivision thereof or\n\nmunicipal corporation therein, or the United States Government or\n\nany agency thereof; provided nevertheless, that this section shall\n\nnot be construed to impose any other or greater rights or\n\nliabilities than would exist if such person and such spouse were\n\neach at least eighteen (18) years of age.","path":["OK Code","Title 72"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os72.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"2ba5efc0b07e47df9e6d6b105e81e4193a2d216f60aa629072e458f1d7944806","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-72-72-48.2","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-72-72-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
