Stat. tit. 72, § 72-6-1","heading":"Impersonating member or veteran of the United States Armed","body":"Forces - Punishment.\n\nA. Any person who knowingly with intent to impersonate and with\n\nintent to deceive, misrepresents himself or herself as a member or\n\nveteran of the United States Armed Forces by wearing any decoration\n\nor medal authorized by the Congress of the United States for the\n\nArmed Forces of the United States, or any of the service medals or\n\nbadges awarded to the members of such forces, or the ribbon, button,\n\nor rosette of any such badge, decoration or medal, or any colorable\n\nimitation thereof, except when authorized under regulations as\n\nauthorized by the applicable federal law, shall be guilty of a\n\nmisdemeanor and shall be fined One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or\n\nbe imprisoned in the county jail for a period of not more than six\n\n(6) months or both.\n\nB. If a decoration or medal involved in an offense under\n\nsubsection A of this section is a Congressional Medal of Honor, the\n\noffender shall upon conviction be guilty of a Class D3 felony\n\noffense and fined an amount not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars\n\n($5,000.00), or be imprisoned as provided for in subsections B\n\nthrough F of Section 20P of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or\n\nboth.\n\nC.
