Whoever knowingly manufactures, reproduces, sells or\n\npurchases for resale, either separately or on or appended to, any\n\narticle of merchandise manufactured or sold, any badge, medal,\n\nemblem, or other insignia or any colorable imitation thereof, of any\n\nveterans’ organization incorporated by enactment of the Congress of\n\nthe United States, or of any organization formally recognized by any\n\nsuch veterans’ organization as an auxiliary of such veterans’\n\norganization, or knowingly prints, lithographs, engraves or\n\notherwise reproduces on any poster, circular, periodical, magazine,\n\nnewspaper, or other publication, or circulates or distributes any\n\nsuch printed matter bearing a reproduction of such badge, medal,\n\nemblem, or other insignia or any colorable imitation thereof, except\n\nwhen authorized under rules and regulations prescribed by any such\n\norganization, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and fined an amount\n\nnot to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) or be imprisoned in the\n\ncounty jail for a period of not more than one (1) year or both.\n\nB.
